The Supreme court, in a stunning decision that is in violation of federal law limiting the power of federal judges, has ordered the release of as many as 46,000 convicts in the state of California. Due to what the ACLU describes as “overcrowding” the court has found rights in the constitution for prisoners to a certain comfort level.
Americans certainly want humane conditions even for lawbreakers, but no one wants a large number of unrepentant felons released into their community. The Supreme court has, with this and other decisions, returned to its activist role. A role many had hoped to avoid. The bible is clear that the Lord abhors judges who hate justice, by taking the teeth out of prison the court shows that it hates justice.
