The one thing the President of the United States does well is fundraising. Today, Mr. Obama spoke to democrats at the White Street Restaurant in New York, New York. As he spoke he made a startling statement.
“[T]here’s a sense possibly that the world is spinning so fast and nobody is able to control it,”
This is an understandable sentiment by the president. Just this week alone the country feels like it is coming apart at the seams and it’s only Wednesday.
Consider that ISIS is close to taking more territory including the Syrian town of Kobani. U.S. airstrikes are not going to stop the Islamic State according to Pentagon spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby.
“We are doing everything we can to halt” ISIS’ progress against the town, but airstrikes alone cannot stop the Islamist militants” Kirby told reporters, “I think we all should be steeling ourselves for that eventuality”
Admiral Kirby’s statements agree with many military analysts who warned that the president was wrong to depend on airstrikes when ground troops were needed also.
The Islamic State is not the only thing spinning out of control. The Ebola virus has entered the United States as the president refused to control entry into the United States from West African countries due to political correctness. Now patient zero, Liberian Thomas Eric Duncan, has died in a Dallas hospital and it appears that a Dallas Sheriff’s deputy may have the virus.
There is the out of control border with Mexico were just today it was revealed that as many as 10 ISIS members or affiliates were captured. Once again the president has refused to control the massive influx of illegal border crossers. It was even revealed by the mayor of Artesia today that many of the detainees there were being released in mass.
It is clear to those that care about the future of America that the source of the earth spinning out of control is the president himself. While there are always challenges for any president, this president is more interested in fundamentally transforming America than to deal with the out of control world we live in.
