A new report was released showing that single parent households make up almost half of the homes in America. Many of these households are made up of women who had their first child between the ages of 15 and 19. The numbers clearly show single parent homes are more likely to create more single parent homes producing three or more children who will carry out the cycle. More than ever before the church needs to step up and encourage marriage and the two parent household.
God reveals in the book of Malachi* that the purpose of marriage is to raise godly children. The statistics bear this out. Single parent households are more likely refuse God and turn to drugs, alcohol and crime.
Understand this perspective goes against the liberal narrative as the enemy continues its assault on marriage and the family. This why the single unwed mom is lauded and not corrected. I am not advocating abandoning or even attacking single parents as the causes are many and varied. But enough of enabling this destructive lifestyle.
The church cannot remain silent on this subject any longer we must the benefits of having children in marriage.

But did He not make them one,
Having a remnant of the Spirit?
And why one?
He seeks godly offspring.
Therefore take heed to your spirit,
And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.
