Bill Nye and the Not-so Scientific View

Bill Nye, the science guy, said that the denial of evolution harms young people and hampers scientific progress. He further stated that while the United States should be praised for its technological innovation, denial of the unprovable theory of evolution is unique to this country. Bill Nye has asked that parents who believe in creation not pass that belief onto their children, because we need literate voters, taxpayers and engineers to build stuff.

Of course, the bible tells us that the Lord created all things and without Him nothing was made. The intellectually bankrupt idea that the designs, patterns and order we observe are the result of random occurrences is absurd. The very DNA that you cannot see giving instructions to every cell in your body from making your eyes to making your toes, that information, as great as the library of congress, just accidentally got there?!? Only a fool says in his heart there is no God.

  • I take offense to the idea that to believe in God as the creator in some way makes me illiterate. I think that someone with such a closed mind as to feel that science is the end-all-be-all of all things is himself illiterate. My question is this, what came first the chicken or the egg? My answer is GOD.
