President Obama continues make America a part of the sweeping and dramatic changes happening in the middle east. Over the weekend at the G8 summit taking place in Chicago, the president openly called for Syrian president al-Assad to leave power, while it was revealed that Mr. Obama secretly approved tanks and anti tank weapons be provided for the Syrian rebels.
At first glance the fall of dictatorships sounds good and right. The bible tells us of the kingdom of the last days that is both strong and weak. Iron mixed with clay. What is happening in our world is a fundamental change in world power. A regime change here or there would be good. When so many long standing dictators fall in just a couple of years, something else is at work. Followers of Jesus Christ beware, it is time to gather all the more as we see the day approaching.
