Homosexuality and same sex marriage are dominating the headlines worldwide, and great polarization is taking place in a variety of circles. what should not be lost in the discussion is God’s point of view. Some will say that homosexuality is particularly egregious and that God pours out a particular wrath and some would even say that a person cannot be forgiven this sin.
The bible tells that God is no respecter of persons. In the book of Romans we are told that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. While I hold that homosexuality is a barometer for the state of a country, the sin itself is no less or no more a sin than those who commit adultery or those who steal. The fact is that God loves us all and has extended to everyone His grace. Jesus did not come to condemn, we are already condemned, He is calling us be forgiven and restored.
