The Secret Service has enjoyed a mostly scandal free history, until now. As we learn more about what happened in Cartagena in advance of President Barack Obama’s arrival at the Summit of the Americas, we discover that moral decay and a lack of American excellence has reached even the Secret Service. At least eleven agents, some are reported to be elite team members, were compromised after hiring local prostitutes. It is even being reported that the president’s travel schedule was in some of the rooms.
Hopefully, I don’t need to quote bible verses about prostitution. The bible is clear about what causes a nation’s decline. Many civilizations have fallen as a result of moral decay. As we have turned from God in our arrogance and refused to seek Him and pray, He has allowed us to have our own way. He has allowed us to destroy ourselves from within.
