Why won’t the president and senate democrats pass a balanced budget? It has now been 1,071 days since the senate has even proposed a budget to be voted on. The president proposed a budget to congress so ridiculous that it was voted down 414-0, not even house democrats could vote for it. Basically, he did not even put forward a real budget and he knows it. What is going on? Why have the president and Harry Reid ignored the law for the last three years and not passed a budget?
The bible tells us that the people perish because of a lack of vision. While this verse speaks to a lack of the word of God in our lives, it also applies our leadership not leading. Chaos is allowed to flourish when our leaders abdicate their responsibilities and that may be the goal. It seems to be the goal of this president and the senate leader to reduce America’s role as that shining city on a hill. It is an offence that we shine at all.
