Would you like to be a millionaire? If you join the United States congress, it could happen to you. It turns out that as a member of congress you would not be under the law against insider trading. Insider trading is just what it sounds like, it is when you get information on the success or failure of a product or company and trade stocks or make purchases bases on that information. Normally, such actions would earn someone hefty fines and significant jail time. But not so for you Mr. congressman or Madame Senator, not for you.
The scripture tells us that the Lord hates corruption of any kind. The fact is that our government is being run by a congress that is corrupt and immoral, taking bribes undermines our representation. Make no mistake, inside information is bribery, and the very fact that congress plays by different rules than you and me proves it is corrupt.
