In Libya, the rebels have taken the capitol city of Tripoli as the Arab spring returns bringing so called freedom and democracy to the Libyan people. While anything would seem better than the brutal dictatorship of Moammar Gadhafi, we know next to nothing about the leadership of the rebel forces that are taking power.
Once again the bible says that true liberty and freedom come from one source, Jesus Christ. Freedom, liberty and peace are desired by people everywhere, but without the one true God, it is a false freedom and a false peace. We must always be wary of a regime change without the Lord. As the dictatorships fall in Middle East, and attention turns to Syria, what will fill the vacuum? What will we see arise from the ashes?
