The latest jobless numbers are out and unemployment has risen by 408,000 people. But you can rest easy as the president heads to Martha’s vineyard to rest up and work his latest economic plan that he plans on releasing sometime in September when congress will also return from vacation. Now I don’t know what everyone else does when tough times hit, but I personally don’t go on vacation when it’s time to get to work.
The bible says there is a time for everything. There is a time for war and a time for peace. There is certainly a time for work and a time for rest, although we don’t value the day of rest God commanded us to honor. The president and congress should be aware that more than 10% of the US population do not have a job and the effect on the economy is cumulative. It is time for America, including the president, to get to work.
